Trinity Diabolus

Since leaving college, I have fastidiously been building a portfolio of work, with periodic day-job necessities being my only interruption! ‘Trinity Diabolus’ was inspired by the John Milton depiction of Satan's creation of Sin, who in turn births Death, thus announcing the two gatekeepers of Hell.

Aside from music, I have drawn inspiration from novels, paperbacks, comics all my life, and love the early writers of dark prose. Also, later Masters like Poe, Lovecraft and Kafka, as much as the timeless splendor of film makers like John Gilling, Murnau, Romero, Hitchcock , Clive Barker- OK I’ll stop now!

My body of work has two distinct approaches. I’m presently working on a comic using brush and ink devices of a classic style and nature. However, I still schedule aside any time needed for the commercial briefs that require a more detailed, painterly approach to colour and tone.
