If accepted for publication you are automatically published in our online edition; however, only a select few are included in our soft cover publication--we will contact you if you are accepted for the soft cover publication.
For submissions:
PLEASE verify that you can accept e-mail from submissions@demonminds.com, AND demonminds@msn.com. There have been occasions where we have been unable to contact an author, poet or artist. If we cannot contact you, we must discard your submission, no matter how much we like it. Word limit is 7500.
We pay $25 for our feature and $25 for cover artwork plus one contributor copy. Submission requirements listed below must be followed, also please spell check your work and make sure it is ready for publication. We do not copy edit your work. There are several excellent commercial copy editing services available online--please make sure that your work is ready to publish before you submit it.

4. Author of Featured tale receives a $25.00 money order, or gift certificate from Amazon.com. Make sure your e-mail address will accept the electronic submission of a certificate from Amazon. 4A. Artwork accepted for Cover receives a $25.00 money order, or a gift certificate from Amazon.com. The artist also receives one contributor copy.
4B. All tales, poems and artwork accepted for publication in our hardcover issue must be accompanied by a letter of agreement--sent to your current e-mail address when accepted for publication. If the letter of agreement isn't returned by the deadline, your work will NOT be published in our hardcover issue.

6. Submission of your manuscript indicates acceptance that YOU and YOU alone are responsible for any legal ramifications of your work. You agree to indemnify DemonMinds and its agents against any, and all, legal actions resulting from its publication. Please don't
plagiarize!!
7. Horror Poems and Horror Tales are automatically entered in the DemonMinds Horror Poetry and Horror Short contests. The winner of each category agrees to be interviewed for our Fall Issue and published again in our Fall issue. A monetary prize may be offered for winners. Entries are judged by current editors, past editors, authors and certain readers which are asked to help with the selection process. Results are under the supervision of the senior editor and are final.
8. Don't assume that e-mail communication works all of the time. With the advent of spam and spam filters, e-mail is lost on occasion. Thus, if you haven't heard back from us, send the e-mail again, or try another account.
9. FORMATTING: All text that you want italicized should be surrounded by curly brackets such as {this is in itals}. All text that you want in bold should be surrounded by square brackets such as [this is in bold]. Our conversion program strips out the brackets and constructs html with the appropriate tags. Indents, tabs, underlining or other formatting is stripped out and isn't replaced, so don't be surprised when you see the finished product. Use line spacing to separate your text in the appropriate fashion.
10. Last but not least, don't lose your passion for writing with all of these stupid rules.
Please send submissions to: submissions@demonminds.com or demonminds@msn.com
